prayer is a little frustrating to me right now. when i pray i don't know what to say. i could say the same things i always say...certain things i ask for...or whatever...but that's so old to me. isn't prayer more? i feel like i am missing the excitment of prayer...there has got to be some excitment to it. some deeper meaning to it...i don' t feel very connected to God right now..maybe that's it...maybe that's why i find prayer to be a bit boring right now. nothing new. i do know God is listening...He has answered many of my requests..but i want prayer to be more than asking...i want to feel a new closeness with Jesus..a new sense of His being.

oh yeah, after tyler woke up and ate we put him in his crib...so sad...will let you know how the rest of the night goes.
how'd last night go?
okay..last night...he woke up around ten to eat so after that we put him in his crib (sad) and he went to sleep. he slept for about three hours until it was time for him to eat again. so i fed him and then jess swaddled him and we all went back to sleep. then he woke up again..about 30 before it was time for him to eat again..so we just let him cry (super sad) and he didn't stop untl it was time for him to eat again. jess did go in when he first woke up and gave him his pacy(just to let him know we cared) and then of course he started to cry again so we left him. after that he ate and and jess swaddled him again. when we put him down he cried for about a minute and then went to sleep. and he slept until 7:30 this morning. woke up happy. all smiling. so that is it. let me know what you think.
Well, first, like I said last night, if it's 30 min or less until feeding time, just feed him. But be careful, and see if it starts getting earlier and earlier every night...then you know it's just a "I want to see mommy and daddy" thing and not a "need to eat" thing. Other than that, I'd say it sounds like he did better than he has been???
