I love stormy days. i wish it would pour rain all day with lots of lightning and loud thounder....but because i want that it probably won't. oh well.

also in reading your blog I totally support the idea of taking a wrecking ball to the present form of church and starting over. Not th people, not all the content but the way it is presented. It seems we leave no room for the spirit. We plan a service right down to the minute and expect God to work in people's hearts? I would like a return to testimony, sharing of meals, singing as a group and not being led by a team of 12 people. Confession as a part of healing. Preaching that makes your heart soar and makes you cringe at the condition of your soul. Creative uses of music, comedy art drama instrumentation and spoken word. I'm in a small group. Church is not about small groups. You find your small group at church.
I love storms too. I remember growing up as a kid and playing in those warm summer rain storms! I spent many of my years growing up in IN and sitting on our back deck watching the lighting storms. Good memories.....
Do the small business idea - go for it!!

what state do you live in jon? my idea actually involves a fleet of ladybugs, an old tractor, and a very wise dog....hmmm...wander what it could be? haha..really though, kristi doesn't want me to tell you. i might strike it rich and how am i to know you are not some money hungry man who will steal it all away from me?????
thank you for supporting my idea of a new kind of church. now if only i knew how to start one. i do hate the way church is presented today. and i am glad you didn't tell me to just pray for a content heart or join a small group.
kristi...i am totally going to let tyler play in summer rain storms any time he wants to. and i will be out there with him!
