Hi there....came across your blog through our friend Kristi. Hope you are having a great day!
Not sure what kind of books you like to read, however I have read "See Jane Run" and "Puppet" by Joy Fielding. I loved these two books...they are full of suspense.
I also read "Inside my heart" by Robin McGraw...which was touching.
Hope you are enjoying your summer!
The Velveteen Mommy by Jen Doucette.
From the hip...what are "See Jane Run" and "Puppet" about?
Kayla..what is the "Velveteen Mommy" about?
I do have some books I am wanting to read this next break...
1. "The Velvet Elvis"
2. "The Lottery" (it's a short story)
3. Something by Mya Angelou
4. Maybe some Edgar Allen Poe stuff
It's a HILARIOUS Christian book about the joys (and trials) of motherhood. I have never laughed so hard in my life. It's being discontinued, so you can find it online for only a short time now. She also just came out with a book called, "Mamma said there'd be days like this" and I can't WAIT to get my hands on it!
Yes! I just read "the Glass Castle". it is my new "emotional bible." best book i've ever read. ever.
i also recommend the children's book: The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. it's touching.
p.s. i'm moving east. not sure where yet.
p.s. the glass castle is an autobiography. it is a story about real life overcoming hardships...
that book sounds interesting. i might just have to read it on my break. moving east...i really think you should move west...and then just stop mid-west...say ...maybe in....kansas:)
so are you just going to go and see where you want to stop?
