Going, Going, Gone

Going to Colorado Springs for a week. We leave tomorrow..I can't wait!

On a different note, I sprained my foot yesterday afternoon! Not my ankle, mind you, but my foot. Right before vactaion none the less....go figure. :)

I just love, love, love times when I am in my car, all by myself, have the worship music going, and singing my heart out to God. And I know, know, know, withouth a doubt, that I am not alone. Those times are so special to me.

last night i made oatmeal chocolate chip and oatmeal peanut butter chip cookies (from scratch)..and for lunch today i am having leftover creamy chicken and rice (it's a great and easy recipe)...
tonight...homemade lasagna. it is a recipe i haven't tried before...it has five cheeses...sausage and hamburger in it. and it take 2 1/2 hours to make! sweet...can't wait to eat it. mmmmm...

I have a job interview on Wednesday at Olathe Medical Center. It's for the unit secretary in the emergancy department! sweet.

so i think ty ate a band aid that was on his finger. guess i need to be watching for it to come out! geez, sometimes i wonder about my mothering abilities.

i made fried chicken for the first time tonight. i had this amazing fried chicken coating recipe, and my chicken turned out wonderful. it was so good...and looked good too.....mmmmmm...go me.

Anybody read any good books lately?

One thing I HATE about the 4th of July is that people shoot fireworks for like a week. If we are allowed to have fireworks at our home..it should be a law that they can only be shot off on the 4th of July...that way people like me won't get so stinkin mad and annoyed at my neighbors. (i only have one neighbor who is doing this...all the other neighbors are fine. it's the people who live behind me) I WANT TO GO PUNCH THEM AND TAKE THEIR FIREWORKS AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!! see, i am mad....this should not be. stupid people. and what's the point in shooting fireworks off in the middle of the day????? that's so retarded. do any of you get annoyed by this or is it just me?
